Madhya Pradesh is the second largest Indian Sate in size with an area of 30, 8,000 sq.km. Geographically, takes a central position in the Ashoka country.King first of all ruled over Ujjain. A considerable part of Central India was part of the Gupta Empire (300-500 AD). The Muslims arrived in central India at the beginning of the 11th Century.
