Heritage on Wheels Tour

After the success of Palace on wheels, the railway department of India has started another royal luxury train- Heritage on wheels to explore the diverse colors of Rajasthan. It is just like its predecessor, even more attractive than the previous one and generates the same magic as palace on wheels. But the names of the trains are different. At the one hand the former emphasis on royal locations, at another hand the latter gives an impression on unending heritage. The covered locations of the trains also vary with the motto of; to explore the heritage sites of the royal Rajasthan. The whole sojourn to the hidden heritage of the state is covered in four days.

The Heritage Destination
Now your mind will busy to find out the exotic locations where the Heritage on Wheels passes through. Well, the most important destinations that have been covered by the train are open art galleries of India, the Shekhawati region. The location is blessed with different colors with huge painted mansions which will catch your attention. The journey begins from the pink city Jaipur and reaches at Bikaner (the part of exotic Thar Desert) where you can explore the sand dunes. The next two destinations seem to be not familiar to the visitors and they are Haat and Gajner. At Gajner you can enjoy camel ride and tea party at the royal Lalgarh Palace and you can see the ancient country side and its people; how they survived in the harsh environmental condition. On Third Day trains reaches at Tal Chappar where you can experience wide range of attractions which includes wildlife, enchanting painted Havelis of Ramgarh, Mandwa, Nawalgarh. Finally on 4th day the train goes back to the Jaipur.

The Regal Treatment- Though the train does not cover the royal destination, yet it does not mean that Heritage on Wheel does not offer royal treatment. At the welcome ceremony, gorgeous women, adoring in folk attire, welcome you with garlands and apply traditional Rajput Tilak (a mark of auspiciousness). On train, the traditionally attired Khidmatgars are ready at your call to fulfill all your requirements, even the gesture of the attendants gives you true satisfaction in the royal land of India.

And the Train itself,
The train itself is an abode of luxury which makes you fill that you are a prince or Emperor of a kingdom. Every coaches are attached with four coupes; each with two toilets at the end of coach. Each coupe is designed with ethnic furniture, intercoms, television sets, and cable connectivity. Further you can have delicious cuisines; Indian as well as continental food at the two restaurants- Maharaja and Maharani. Even you can enjoy expensive wines at reasonable rates.
